Dolly Mosher
Board Chair
Dolly brings more than 24 years of experience as a civilian professional in policing, with a career dedicated to supporting victims of crime, addressing intimate partner violence, and advancing efforts to prevent domestic homicide.
Throughout her tenure with Halifax Regional Police, she has played a leadership role in victim-centered services, managing the Victim Services Unit and working collaboratively with community partners to enhance safety, support, and advocacy for vulnerable individuals and families.
Her work has provided her with a deep understanding of the complex social issues that intersect with the justice system, including the criminalization of homelessness and the challenges faced by individuals living with disabilities, mental health concerns, and other barriers. As a passionate advocate for inclusive and compassionate community responses, Dolly brings valuable expertise and a strong social justice perspective to her work with Atlantic Community Supportive Living, formerly known as Quest Society for Adult Support & Rehabilitation.
Dolly’s commitment to community leadership extends beyond her professional role. She has served on the boards of Silent Witness Nova Scotia and the Metro Interagency Committee on Family Violence and remains an active member of the Nova Scotia Domestic Homicide Review Committee. Through these roles, she continues to champion collaboration, prevention, and systemic change to improve outcomes for individuals and communities across Nova Scotia.
